With The 21st Pick in The 2009 NFL Draft, The Philadelphia Eagles Select....

Curt KolpCorrespondent IMarch 11, 2009

For my fellow Philadelphia Eagles fans, it has been somewhat of a frustrating offseason. No number one wideout (yet,) Brian Dawkins leaving to go to Denver, Tra Thomas signing with Jacksonville, and Jon Runyan not returning to the Eagles for the '09 season has infuriated many die-hard Eagle fans.

But things have taken a turn for the better in the past couple weeks. The signings of Stacey Andrews and Sean Jones have filled glaring holes that needed to be addressed.  In addition, the Eagles have 12 draft picks, and that is a good thing!

We all know the positions that need to be addressed in the draft, but what will the Eagles do with the two picks in the first round?

Draft Chris "Beanie" Wells with the 21st pick and an offensive lineman like Michael Oher with the 28th? Or will they trade one of the first round picks for a wideout like Anquan Boldin?

My guess is just as good as the next person's, but here's what I would personally love to see happen. They take Chris "Beanie" Wells with the 21st pick, and then trade away the 28th pick for Anquan Boldin, Brandon Marshall, or Braylon Edwards. Then, in the second round, they draft a offensive lineman such as Jamon Meredith from South Carolina.

"Beanie" Wells would be a very nice change-up from the speedy Brian Westbrook, along with an eventual replacement as the franchise back.

Meredith would be a huge addition to the O-Line, and wouldn't have to step in as a starter right away.

My fellow Eagle die-hards, post whatever moves you feel the Eagles make in the draft!
