Rock-Hard NBA Locks: March 10
Oh baby I am ROCK HARD...for the NBA!
Welcome back, so in my very first rock hard NBA locks I went 4-2 not bad lets see if I can improve on that tonight. Six games on the docket...Let's get ROCK HARD!
Utah Jazz vs. Indiana Pacers
Let me just say that I love Danny Granger absolutely love the guy. He's athletic, exciting, and a killer. Every time I watch Granger I wished he played on a better team. Because he is really one of the unknown stars of the NBA. Before he got injured he was averaging 25 ppg and 1.5 blocks per game.
However none of that matters because the Jazz are on a role ever since Carlos Boozer came back. With or without Granger the Jazz are winning easily at Conseco Fieldhouse, 100-83.
New York Knicks vs. Milwaukee Bucks
One of the surprises in the NBA have been the Bucks. Ask anyone and they will tell you they thought the Bucks would die a slow death after Michael Redd went down for the year with a knee injury. Yet here are the Bucks holding on to that eighth seed in the East.
They are looking to sweep the season series from the Knicks for the first time since 1990-91, they will not get the job done as the Knicks will sneak out of the Bradley center with a win, 115-109.
Charlotte Bobcats vs. San Antonio Spurs
Once again quietly the Spurs are having another good year. While everyone talks about the Lakers, the Cavs, and the Celtics—and they should—the Spurs are once again being overlooked. That is how the Spurs like it though, they just go along with their business win 50 plus games then be a tough out in the playoffs.
Let's not forget that the Spurs win every odd numbered year (99,03,05,07). Even with Manu's injury this team does not miss a beat. Sorry Bobcats I got nothing for you...Spurs dominate, 96-79.
Dallas Mavericks vs. Phoenix Suns: Game of the Night
Shaq is looking like the Shaq old which is bad news for the Mavs tonight. The Mavs are so schizo you have no idea what to expect from this team. One night they'll get blown out by a Durant-less Thunder team and the next night they beat the Spurs? The Mavs currently are holding on to the eighth seed in the West and they are four games ahead of the Suns.
Huge game, especially for the Suns if they want to get back into the playoff race. Suns take care of business tonight and win, 122-112.
Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Sacramento Kings
The Kings are the worst team in the league. The Thunder are also one of the worst teams in the league, but I would say they are the best of the worst—like being the tallest midget.
The Thunder will once again be without their two leading scorers in Kevin Durant and Jeff Green, but their defense has improved since both guys went down so they should take care of the Kings, 90-81.
Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Los Angeles Clippers
You know what I like about LeBron James? He watches a lot of other teams in the NBA so you know he tuned into Monday night's game between the Bulls and Heat and he saw what his boy D-Wade did.
I'm going to bet LeBron goes off like that tonight and the Clippers have no power at all to stop him. I don't even think the Governator can even stop this guy. Cavs roll, 100-71.
