Highlights
Mallinger hit a 23-foot putt to join the birdie crowd on the 11th hole. It was part of his impressive performance on Friday that shot him to the lead.
Jeff Overton sat at two-under par for much of the second round. He did that damage with one putt, securing an eagle on the par-5 15th hole.
Charles Howell III took the same approach as Overton. He rode an eagle on the same hole to a round of 69. The big difference is Howell started the day at five-under.
