Preview

March has kicked off with the very madness that everyone has anticipated, and the Horizon League Championship game should provide the very same excitement. Two teams—one needs to win if they want to dance, the other wants to win in anticipation of the madness that will surely ensue.

Cleveland State needs this win. They have played competitive basketball the whole season. Their big wins include upsetting Syracuse at the Carrier Dome and losing to Butler by just two points twice.

Butler has been a mid-major phenom all season—they have defeated a handful of very good teams, including Xavier, Davidson, and UAB. The Bulldogs are currently ranked in the top 20 in both the AP and Coaches' polls and have been in the Top 25 every week since the start of 2009.

Both games between them were great this season, and there is no reason to believe that tonight's Horizon League Championship game won't provide the same great level of basketball.
