WWE Power Rankings: March Week Two!

Sterling EbyMar 9, 2009

The weeks are shaping up well. Wrestlemania is coming in a fury. Here is this week's power rankings!

1.) Edge

World Heavyweight Champion. A loss by disqualification doesn't hurt if you are the champion. Meaning. Edge beat Cena Monday.

2.) Triple H

WWE Champion. Facing Randy Orton at Wrestlemania in the main event for Raw. He's got some heavy work to do to keep this spot!

3.) Randy Orton

With the Royal Rumble win under his belt, Randy Orton officially challenges Triple H for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania.

4.) John Cena

Lost Monday Night in the Main Event for the World Heavyweight Championship. He won the match. Not the title. But did ruin The Big Show/Edge Match signing. Maybe Cena's attitude adjustment is heading Blue?

5.) Jack Swagger

ECW World Champion.  Beat a returning Christian last week, and won another ECW Main Event. Where's Swagger heading at Mania?

6.) Undertaker

He stands there. He talks. He's the deadman. He's facing The Heartbreak Kid at Mania. What more do you want from the man?

7.) Shawn Michaels

He beat the Moscow Mauler. He's facing the Deadman at Mania. Will he have his heart broken at Mania?

8.) Vladimir Kozlov

He lost to HBK on Monday Night. His undefeated streak is over. We learn from our losses. Let's see what Kozlov has learned before he gets the boot.

9.) Miz and Morrison

WWE World Tag Team Champions. They won their main event on ECW this past Tuesday. Where are they gonna be come April?

10.) CM Punk

WWE Intercontinental Champion. He was Idle this past Monday. But with Money in the Bank on his mind, maybe it is a good idle for Punk.

11.) Matt Hardy

He lost against MVP on Friday. And he made his brother lose as well. You can say he one-upped his brother. But he still lost a life. So that puts him as an idle this week.

12.) Jeff Hardy

He lost his match against Shelton Benjamin on Smackdown thanks to his brother Matt. Everlasting Enigma. What's on his Mind.

13.) Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase

They didn't do much this past Monday. No match. But they got to see Orton and HHH nearly kill each other. That counts as something in my book.

14.) Kane

He won Monday Night to qualify for Money in the Bank. And Tuesday he beat the Boogeyman. Kane is (no pun intended) on fire.

15.) Rey Mysterio

He lost Monday night to Kane. Mania is coming fast for the master of the 619. He needs to make plans in a hurry.

16.) Finlay

He lost Tuesday in the main event of ECW. The ECW title is slowly becoming more and more out of reach for Finlay.

17.) MVP

He officially qualified for Money in the Bank Friday night. He is one step away from getting a shot at gold.

18.) Chris Jericho

He beat up another old timer. He used more big words. Jericho is facing somebody at Mania. But who?

19.) JBL

He was idle this past Monday, but he says he has plans for Mania. Time is ticking.

20.) Carlito and Primo

WWE Tag Team Champions. They were idle on Friday. But these kids are talented. Do they have plans for Mania?

21.) The Big Show

He is officially the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. But the papers aren't signed yet, thanks to Cena.

22.) Mark Henry

The World's Strongest Man is heading to Mania.

23.) Christian

Two weeks. Two losses. Tisk Tisk.

24.) Shelton Benjamin

WWE United States Champion—once again Shelton is heading to Mania starring in his own human highlight film after his victory over Jeff Hardy.

25.) Mike Knox

Lost this Monday to Kane and Mysterio. Whats he got planned come next Monday
