Teams USA Defeats Venezuela to Advance to The WBC Semi-Finals
Team USA out batted Venezuela, 15-6, in their second game of the World Baseball Classic.

Roy Oswalt threw 65 pitches, 44 for strikes and gave up three earned runs.
Venezuelan starter, Armando Gallarga, went head to head with Oswalt, keeping the game close.
After the starters left, the USA bullpen was obviously supreme to that of the Venezuelan team.
Team USA relievers allowed three earned runs over the remaining five innings with two outs, while Team Venezuela gave up 13 runs in five innings.
Team USA and Team Venezuela at the Plate:
Mark Derosa (2-2, BB, SacFly, HBP) and Chris Ianetta (2-3, 2 BB's) were the heroes Sunday as each drove in four runs.
Adam Dunn also with his second home runs in just as many games.
Jose Lopez went 3-4 with three doubles, but no RBI's.
Carlos Guillen went 1-3 with a solo homer and two runs scored.
Venezuela set them selves up for disaster burning their No. 1 and No. 2 starters against Italy in the game before their game against Team USA.

With their victory against Venezuela, Team USA advances to the WBC Semi-Finals.
