Who Is the Big Ten's MVP?
Throughout the year there have been some big performances by the players of the Big Ten. This year it’s been one of the best conferences and is expected to have up to eight teams go to the Big Dance.
The big names that have brought the Big Ten’s competitiveness up a notch are players like Kalin Lucas, Taylor Battle, Evan Turner, and Manny Harris.
Kalin Lucas is Michigan State’s leader and has helped their team to their 25-5 season. His near 15 points a game has helped the Spartans to a No. 6 ranking in the coaches poll.

Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
Taylor Battle and Manny Harris were both part of their teams' rebuilding. Manny helped Michigan to a pretty good season where they have beaten UCLA and Duke and gave UConn a run for their money.
Taylor Battle is the sophomore from Penn State and is why the Nittany Lions are where they are. If he has a down game then Penn State isn’t doing too good.
Last but certainly not least is Evan Turner. What a talent he is for the Ohio State Buckeyes. He leads the team in scoring, rebounding, assists, and steals. There is no doubt this Buckeyes team would not be winning the games without Evan Turner on the court.
So who should win the MVP for the Big Ten Conference?
It’s not really a contest: It’s got to be Evan Turner. He is just so talented and can do so many things to you. He can make threes, though he doesn’t shoot them a lot. He can shoot the mid-range jumper, and the best thing he does is drive the lane.
Turner is 6’7" and is listed as a small forward, but he plays like he’s a point guard. He makes key passes when people are open and can handle the ball really well.
Battle and Lucas have great stats for one category. No one is more balanced than Evan Turner in the Big Ten.
We’ll see if the Buckeyes' MVP can pick up the Big Ten’s MVP at the end of the Big Ten Tournament.
