Can LSU Right the Ship Against the Dominating South Carolina Defense?

LSU's 14-6 loss last week at Florida was the culmination of three straight weeks of regression for Les Miles and the Tigers.

The offense simply couldn't get cranked up against the vaunted Florida defense. Quarterback Zach Mettenbeger was wildly inconsistent, his offensive line didn't do him any favors and the defense was uncharacteristically worn down by the fast and physical Gators.

Meanwhile, South Carolina established itself as a threat not only for the SEC East title, but for the national title, with a resounding 35-7 win over Georgia in Columbia. The win moved the Gamecocks to the No. 3 spot in the latest AP poll, their highest ranking in three decades.

Can LSU right the ship vs. South Carolina, or will the Gamecock train roll on for another week?

B/R contributor Marc Kohn and SEC lead writer Barrett Sallee preview the South Carolina vs. LSU game in this edition of "The Program."
