2012 Fantasy Football: Get 'em or Don't Sweat 'em NFL Week 6

Ryan LesterJun 7, 2018

There were some unusual heroes on Sunday. There always are. Let’s take a look at them and see if they are worthy of your fantasy rosters.

Armando Allen, RB, Chicago Bears

Allen busted a 46-yard touchdown run to finish with five catches for 59 yards. It was in mop up duty so look elsewhere.

Ruling:  Don't Sweat 'em.

Daniel Thomas, RB, Miami Dolphins

Thomas had ten carries for 29 yards and a touchdown. He doesn't get enough attempts to be a solid fantasy option. With bye weeks upon us and favorable match-ups ahead, Thomas could have some flex value.

Ruling: Get 'em.

Randall Cobb, WR, Green Bay Packers

Cobb caught four passes on four targets for 82 yards and a score. With Greg Jennings banged up, he has value.

Ruling:  Get 'em.

Josh Gordon and Jordan Norwood, WRs, Cleveland Browns

Gordon made the most of his two catches, though he was targeted eight times, compiling 82 yards and two touchdowns. Meanwhile Norwood caught all nine of his targets for 81 yards. I'd need to see them do it again before burning a roster spot on either of them.

Ruling:  Don't Sweat 'em.

Rueben Randle, WR, New York Giants

Randle caught six passes for 82 yards.  Nicks and Barden were out in this one. He'd only have use if they missed again.

Ruling:  Don't Sweat 'em.

Golden Tate, WR, Seattle Seahawks

Tate caught his third touchdown in three games. He's not a good fantasy option though as he has just ten receptions on the year.

Ruling:  Don't Sweat 'em.

Dwayne Allen, TE, Indianapolis Colts

He has actually had three decent games in a row. His four catches for 38 yards and a score isn't enough to make you consider him for your lineup though.

Ruling:  Don't Sweat 'em.

Joel Dreessen, TE, Denver Broncos

Dreesseen scored for the third straight game. Tamme still gets more looks making Dreessen a less attractive option.

Ruling:  Don't Sweat 'em.
