Analysis: Manchester United Vs. Inter Milan
Inter Milan's matchup with Manchester United next Wednesday is surely a game to watch. Those teams are probably the strongest teams in all of Europe alongside Barcelona.
The teams are both leading in their respective leagues with a seven point gap between them and the second placed teams and neither team is likely to get beaten on the title race.
But only one team can proceed in the UEFA Champions League.

Sir Alex Ferguson has got his work cut out for him as Jose Mourinho is one of the few managers that has an excellent record against him, which started in the Champions League in 2004 when Mourinho's Porto knocked the English champions out of the competition and as a Chelsea manager Mourinho came on top several times and made Sir Alex redefine his principles for his United team.
But Sir Alex has few worries for the Champions League fixture.
First of all both Rio Ferdinand and John O'Shea came off injured on Saturday against Fulham and if they are not fit Jonny Evans will step in at center back.
But the right back position is a bit of a mystery with both Wes Brown and Gary Neville out of the action. We might even get to see the Brazilian Fabio da Silva or the young Richard Eckersley make an appearance.
He also has to pick a team that can outscore a strong Inter team, his tactics were spot on in the first round when he set out to not concede a goal. But he will have different emphasis next Wednesday.
My guess about the team that Sir Alex will field at Old Trafford is the same that took down Chelsea in January:
Edwin van der Sar in Goal
John O'Shea, Rio Ferdinand (Jonny Evans if Rio is not fit), Nemanja Vidic, and Patrice Evra in defense.
Ronaldo and Park on the wings, even though Ronaldo was left out of the squad this weekend, he is supposed to be fit on Wednesday. With the seldom seen partnership of Darren Fletcher and Ryan Giggs in the middle of the park.
It's certain that Wayne Rooney, who has hit goalscoring form and Dimitar Berbatov, who was rested against Fulham in the FA cup will play together up top.
If the United defense manages to mark Adriano and Ibrahimovic out of the game like they did at the Giuseppe Meazza and if the attackers are a little bit more clinical, then I will predict United to come out on top and progress to the next stage of the Champions League.
