Kentucky Basketball: 3 Recruits Who Might Follow the Harrison Twins to UK

Andrew and Aaron Harrison announced today that they will be taking their talents to Lexington to become Kentucky Wildcats.

The Texas Twins indicated why they chose to go to UK:

"We liked coach (John) Calipari's fire to win and we want to win a national championship," Andrew said.

Added Aaron: "Also, Coach Calipari did not guarantee anything and we liked that."

The No. 1 PG and No. 1 SG in ESPN's Class of 2013 will automatically form one of the best college back-court tandems in the country.

Calipari doesn't need any help reeling in more elite-level.

But Andrew and Aaron's commitment today might act as a recruiting magnet for more elite-level talent.

Here are three more top recruits who might soon follow the Harrisons' lead and become citizens of the Big Blue Nation:

Prediction #1: Jabari Parker Will Bypass the Bluegrass State

Of all the elite-level players who will end up on the 2013-14 Kentucky Wildcats' roster, Jabari Parker will not be one of them.

Scott Powers of ESPNChicago.com reported today that Parker is checking out Florida from Nov. 2-4, and is scheduled to visit Duke on Oct. 27. He has also committed to visiting Michigan State on an unknown date.

Powers added that Parker is likely to only add two more campus visits.

This summer, Parker went public with a list of 10 schools that he was still considering. They are BYU, DePaul, Duke, Florida, Georgetown, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan State, North Carolina and Stanford.

UConn was added last month.

To date, all schools except Kentucky and Georgetown have made in-home visits.

That doesn't mean that Coach Cal couldn't begin to make his pitch now, but it might be a little too late, even for him.

Prediction #2: James Young Will Be Spotting Up at Rupp

James Young is an explosive wing scorer who would be a great complement to the twins.

Young plays in "attack mode," perfect for Coach Cal's dribble-drive motion.

He gets things done off the dribble and knocks down shots beyond the arc.

Young is considered the second-best small forward by Scout.com and the fifth-best player in the 2013 class by ESPN.com.

One of the issues that he might consider is whether or not this year's Wildcat wings, Archie Goodwin and Alex Poythress, will move on to the NBA or will return for their sophomore seasons.

Even if Goodwin and Poythress return to campus next year, Calipari will figure out how to get all of these athletic wings enough PT.

Prediction #3: Noah Vonleh's Versatility Makes Him a Must Get

Noah Vonleh just reclassified his recruitment status, moving back into the Class of 2013 (from 2014).

Not too many players could do that and enter ESPN's Top 100 as the No. 7 player in the nation as Vonleh did.

He is a super athletic, multitalented for who has no trouble scoring the ball and loves to crash the boards.

The 6'8" 220-lb. PF's recruitment is wide open.

Even though Indiana, North Carolina and Ohio State are bringing the most heat so far, all Kentucky would have to do is begin to come hard after this young gun, and he might be ready to sign.

Prediction #4: Julius Randle Is Ready to Rock the Blue and White!

It was no coincidence that Julius Randle visited the UK campus the same weekend last month when Coach Cal had invited past NCAA champions back for a huge reunion/charity basketball game.

Just this week, Randle tweeted his final six list: Kentucky, NC State, Florida, Texas, Kansas and OU.

Randle is listed as the No. 3 player in the Class of 2013.

The 6'9" 225-lb. man-child loves to set-up on the block, but he is far from only a back-to-the-basket post player.

Randle has a nice mid-range skill set that makes it that much more difficult to lock him up.

What would a front-court of Randle and Nerlens Noel be like? Can you say D-O-M-I-N-A-T-I-O-N?

We may all get to see that action when these two exceptionally skilled players join forces down low.
