2012 Fantasy Football Week 5 Sleeper Starters to Consider
Going into Week 5 you have to be prepared with sleeper starters, bye week fillers and injury spot starters. Here is a list of QBs, RBs, WRs and TEs in no particular order that can be considered for Week 5.
Andy Dalton (QB, CIN) - Dalton has been red-hot over the last couple weeks and it won't stop against Miami this week. Expect multiple touchdowns and nearly 300 yards this week.
Ryan Fitzpatrick (QB, BUF) - Fitzpatrick blew it up last week against New England from a fantasy perspective last week. He has a very tough defense again in San Francisco, but should find his team behind going into the second half of the game forcing Buffalo to throw the ball.

Andrew Luck (QB, IND) - Luck is going up against Green Bay this week and he will be throwing a ton to keep up. He will throw some interceptions but overall looking for 300+ yards and a couple TDs with a couple interceptions.
Matt Hasselbeck (QB, TEN) - Filling in for Locker against a tough Minnesota team but should be playing from behind all game and forced to throw.
Ryan Williams (RB, ARZ) - stunk it up last week and going against St. Louis this week. He is a nice flex starter if you have a player on bye week, but he is a gamble play as he could put up numbers or flop.
Rashard Mendenhall (RB, Pitt) - another gamble play but Pitt needs a spark at RB and Mendenhall has fresh legs. Let's hope he produces, but still a real gamble start this week.
Jackie Battle (RB, SD) - named the starter in SD, but this could be easy come/easy go but he will get some work and you have to be in a tough spot to have to start him.
Brandon Bolden (RB, NE) - racked it up last week and only has real value when New England is far ahead. There is a chance this is a shootout so Bolden has flop potential, but if you are in a tight spot you can gamble on him.
Domenik Hixon (WR, NYG) - with Nicks nursing an injury, Hixon is a solid sleeper starter especially for PPR leagues. Keep an eye on the news and make sure Nicks is out before you start him.
James Jones (WR, GB) - Jennings is hurting and this is an opportunity for Jones to continue to step up. He is going to be reliable enough for 50 yards and a TD.
Leonard Hankerson (WR, WAS) - Washington's offense has been clicking and if you are in a PPR league and looking for a bye week filler, then turn to Hankerson for some help.
T.Y. Hilton (WR, IND) - deep leagues only for this pick, but he will have upside as Indy has to play comeback football.
Greg Olsen (TE, CAR) - he is on some waiver wires and he is putting up solid consistent numbers. He is a great pickup as a backup to your stud TE or as a replacement for an under-performing player.
Scott Chandler (TE, BUF) - He shows upside because he can find the end zone. He is a boom or bust start this week.
Heath Miller (TE, PIT) - finding the end zone almost every week. He is a nice bye week fill-in this week.
