Liam Neeson's SportsCenter Interview Was Awkward with a Side of Uncomfortable

Liam Neeson was on SportsCenter to field questions he didn't know the answers to, and we all had to suffer because of it. 

The interview instantly became an emotional one for fans who enjoyed the duration of the train wreck through fingers as they placed hands firmly on head. 

It was a beautiful disaster. 

Here is the beginning of something quite awkward. Be warned that the video has a NSFW word at the :30 second mark.

Were there no producers to prep Neeson and tell him what they might be talking about. Most of us know that SportsCenter has to throw in an obligatory Jets reference every segment, but that doesn't mean Qui-Gon Jinn does. 

Mike Hill tries to infuse some Jets debate into the interview which would have no doubt centered around that Tebow guy, all because Neeson was at the game on Sunday.

Look, I've been spotted near a salad bar, but it doesn't mean I know how to do a push-up. 

I love Neeson's attempt to make this a worthwhile interview while he is being asked to have a real opinion on things has no thoughts on. 

The interview starts horribly and then continues to get worse, not unlike the plight of the Boston Red Sox in the Bobby Valentine era. 

That's bad awkward, but this is great awkward. 

There is a difference. 

While the rest of us should be celebrating the release of Taken 2, a movie that will no doubt bring world peace to our doorstep and solve all the world's energy problems, we are discussing Neeson's horrible interview. 

I blame the Jets. 

If they weren't so horrible, Ra's Al Ghul wouldn't have had such a bad time.
