Kentucky Wildcats in the NFL Week 4: Randall Cobb Comes Through in the Clutch

Nick NafpliotisJun 7, 2018

Another week brings another solid effort from the University of Kentucky alumni currently playing in the NFL.

While the first half of UK's eventual loss this past Saturday to South Carolina may have been exciting to watch, Randall Cobb led a solid week for the NFL Wildcats with a clutch fourth-quarter effort for his Green Bay Packers.

vs. New Orleans Saints

7 rec, 66 yards

3 KOR, 88 yards

While his stats weren't particularly gaudy (though 154 yards of total offense is nothing to sneeze at), Randall Cobb had three receptions on the Green Bay Packers' final scoring driving to help lift them to a 28-27 win over the New Orleans Saints.

Garry Williams and the Carolina Panthers offensive line opened up some nice holes for Cam Newton and DeAngelo Williams to run through, but it wasn't enough as they fell to the Atlanta Falcons, 20-28, in the last minute of the game.
