Come To Think Of It...Slip the Glass Shoe on the Georgia Bulldogs
And this year's Cinderella team in the NCAA men's college basketball tourney is...drum roll please...the Georgia Bulldogs!
Any team that can survive a tornado has the mental toughness needed to advance to the Sweet 16, at least.
And yes, because of the tornado that hit Atlanta on Friday, the Bulldogs had to play a day-night doubleheader on Saturday. They won three games in two days (four total) to win the SEC tournament title.

Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
Georgia has terrific athletic talent and should be playing with very little pressure as they weren't expected to even make it this far. Georgia had lost 10 of its last 12 games entering the SEC tournament.
As for the brackets, they drew the No. 14 seed, so it certainly won't be an easy road. Their first round matchup against No. 3 Xavier is a tough one, but one they can win. Senior point guard Drew Lavender has been battling ankle problems, and the Bulldogs will have to hope this affects him in their game. Unlike the 'Dogs who are hot, Xavier is coming off a loss in their final regular season tourney game.
Georgia was bothered by suspensions and injuries all season. but are playing their best ball at the right time. Senior Sundiata Gaines is one of the most underrated point guards in the nation, and they have the potential for solid outside shooting. Billy Humphrey can hit the three and Terrance Woodbury is a streak shooter who will need to get hot against Xavier.
Finally, the Bulldogs are big. Both of their frontcourt players are 6-feet-10 and can rebound and play great defense.
So, despite a tough year resulting in a 17-16 record, the Georgia Bulldogs seem as primed to spring an upset as anyone in this field. Hey, any team that can do what they did to win the SEC championship shouldn't be taken lightly. With no expectations, they will be loose heading into the tourney.
Like a tornado, they will blow the competition away.
