Week 5 Fantasy Football Projections: QBs Who Will Put Up Huge Numbers
No single position alters more fantasy football matchups than quarterback. A monster performance, like Tom Brady had in Week 4, can almost single-handedly win a week. That's why the draft value of QBs has skyrocketed in recent years.
Let's take a glance at three field generals who will provide a huge boost to fantasy teams in Week 5. Owners with one of them on their squad should feel confident about their chances while those facing these top-tier options will need to make up ground in other areas.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Rodgers finally had the type of game fantasy owners were expecting in Week 4, putting him 27 points against a dreadful New Orleans Saints secondary. The Green Bay Packers star gets another favorable matchup against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
The Colts have allowed five touchdown passes in three games despite not having any of the league's premier passing offenses. The secondary still has plenty of holes for Rodgers and his plethora of weapons to exploit throughout the game.
Perhaps more importantly, the Packers offense is still trying to find the rhythm that made the unit nearly impossible last season. So Rodgers should keep throwing a lot even if Green Bay builds a lead, equaling some valuable fantasy points in garbage time.
Prediction: 24 fantasy points
Manning doesn't have the arm strength he did during his prime, but the Denver Broncos signal-caller illustrated over the past two weeks that he doesn't need it. He's racked up 46 fantasy points thanks to 668 yards and five touchdowns.
He should have another big game against the New England Patriots. Even though the Patriots were able to secure a crucial road victory over the Buffalo Bills, they still allowed 350 yards passing and four touchdowns to Ryan Fitzpatrick.
In 16 regular season starts against the Patriots, Manning has thrown 36 touchdowns and averaged nearly 275 yards per game. He should be able to find plenty of space in the shaky New England secondary, leading to a third consecutive strong start.
Prediction: 23 fantasy points
Even though Matt Ryan was overshadowed by a bunch of other quarterbacks before the season began, a strong argument can be made that he had been the best through the first month. He's been unstoppable.
In fantasy terms, the Atlanta Falcons star has been a bargain. He's scored at least 17 points in all four games, which is exactly the type of consistency owners are looking for at the position, and has a good chance to reach the 20-point mark again in Week 5.
The Falcons face off with the Washington Redskins, owners of the league's second-worst pass defense through four weeks. In a high-profile quarterback battle with rookie sensation Robert Griffin III, Ryan should come out on top.
Prediction: 20 fantasy points
