Ryder Cup 2012 TV Schedule: Where to Catch This Weekend's Action

Golf fans that are struggling with the conclusion of the 2012 PGA Tour events can take solace—they get a bonus event with the Ryder Cup.

Coverage from the Medinah Country Club in Medinah, Ill. started on Thursday with the opening ceremonies. The event concludes on Sunday with singles play and the closing ceremonies.

The United States will attempt to reclaim the Cup from the European team that has won six of the last eight events, including four straight in Europe.

Graeme McDowell won the final Ryder Cup point for Europe in 2010 on the newly constructed Twenty Ten course in Wales. They won the exciting event by a final score of 14.5 to 13.5.

Davis Love III will captain the U.S. squad, squaring off against Europe's José Maria Olazábal. Both teams are solid and deep and the event begins with strong matchups from the very first tee box. 

The top-ranked Rory McIlroy and 2010 hero Graeme McDowell face the formidable Jim Furyk and 2012 Tour Champion Brandt Snedeker.
