Graeme McDowell's Girlfriend: Pics of Golf Star's Beautiful Boo Kristin Stape

One of golf's greatest international events will feature one of the sport's best in Graeme McDowell, but that is only part of the good news. 

The star from Northern Ireland will be a formidable golfer at the Ryder Cup at Medinah Country Club Sept. 28-30. 

Hopefully, we get a heaping dose of his lovely lady as well, girlfriend Kristin Stape. 

The beauty reached a new level of fame at the 2012 US Open where her boyfriend finished just one stroke shy of winner Webb Simpson. 

The windy San Francisco weekend was, for some, an introduction to Stape, but those with an eye for design may have heard her name before. 

Stape is an interior designer and has had her own company since 2010, according to Player Wives. 

As with anyone hoping to make an impact in their respective careers these days, Stape is prolific on Twitter. As of this writing, she has more than 1,200 followers, a number I am confident will rise dramatically if cameras capture her at the Ryder Cup. 

Her real passion is interior design and you can soon find some of her efforts at the official website of her company, Kristin Stape Design. 

For now, the website's front page has a "coming soon" promise to keep your interest until more information is added.

There is no word on when the two met, but Player Wives reports they were present at the April 2012 wedding of McDowell's buddy and fellow countryman Darren Clark. 

The Ryder Cup just became a whole lot more interesting.
