Miami Dolphins: What the Fins Must Do to Beat the Cardinals in Week 4

The Miami Dolphins have surprised everyone to start off the season. Their rushing attack is incredibly formidable. Their run defense has been monstrous. Ryan Tannehill has shown promise.

However, when the Dolphins (1-2) take on the Arizona Cardinals (3-0) this Sunday, every aspect of their game must be clicking to escape with a victory.

Planning a strategy for facing the Cardinals is relatively interesting. Their passing game is average, but it has improved with Kevin Kolb playing well under center. Their running game is unpredictable with both Ryan Williams and Beanie Wells receiving carries. Their running defense is all right. Their pass defense might just be the best aspect of their game.

However, this is where things get interesting. Both the Dolphins and the Cardinals do not necessarily line up well against each other. Arizona does not have a significant enough rushing attack for the Dolphins to crush. Miami does not have a significant enough passing attack for the Cardinals to limit.

The best guess for each team will be how they run their respective offense.

Miami knows that considering the sheer strength of the Cardinals secondary and the Dolphins' ability to dynamically run the football, a rushing approach to this game will be the most beneficial.

Arizona knows that considering the weakness of the Dolphins secondary, a passing attack led by Kolb will be the only way to go.

If the Dolphins want to win this game, they must rush the ball down the throats of Arizona and control possession of the football to give the secondary more time to rest. The secondary has to rise to the occasion and finally stop an opposing passing game.

If Miami can be successful in these two things, the Cardinals might just lose their first game of the year and the Dolphins can pick up their second win.
