It's Never too Early for Fantasy Football
You know the old saying "it's never to early for the NFL Draft"? The same saying applies to the roller coaster ride in the world of fantasy football. One week your sitting like a king the next your cleaning streets.
This world depends on three things; consistency, depth and strength of schedule
Remember consistency is key. Big names are overrated. Don't pull a Ditka and trade the farm for one or two great players. Take 14 good players over a couple great ones. One player getting injured or having a bad game in the playoffs cannot ruin your entire season.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Based on a 12-man league with a flex.
QB: Aaron Rodgers Green Bay
*Projected Round: Fourth
- The former Cal Bear is at least starting to inch away from Brett Favres' shadow. He had four rushing touchdowns to go with his 28 strikes in the end zone (fourth best). That's not why I like him.
He had 16 plays that went over 40 yards which is tied for best in the league with Drew Brees. He is basically in his second year and primed for a breakout season.
RB: LenDale White Tennessee
Projected Round: fifth or sixth
- LenDale and his 15 Td's are well worth a selection in rounds 4-5. He splits carries but still gets his fair share. He will continue getting the goal-line carries and even showed a little burst with two runs over forty yards with a long of eighty.
RB: Thomas Jones NY Jets
*Projected Round: fifth or sixth
-He drops this far because of lost carries to Leon Washington and the quarterback situation in New York. Thomas Jones had just what he needed with thirteen touchdowns (fifth best in 2008).
His o-line is only going to continue to improve with The Brick Ferguson and Nick Mangolds' growth. They are still meshing with Alan Faneca.
WR: Larry Fitzgerald Arizona Cardinals
*Projected Round: first
- I think everyone knows Fitz solidified himself with a superstar performance in the playoffs. He has the ability to catch any ball that comes his way. It almost seemed unfair. With Warner staying in Arizona, he will continue to get his touches. He has Jerry Rice caliber talent.
WR Calvin Johnson Detroit
*Projected Round: Second
-For those of you who haven't gotten the memo...CJ is a freak. The Lions played with five different quarterbacks over sixteen games. He still was tied for first in the league for touchdowns with a long of 96 yards.
Tied for second with plays over forty yards with seven. If he gets a decent quarterback play, watch out.
Flex Greg Jennings Green Bay
*Projected Round: Third
-Rodgers to Jennings has been looking a lot like Favre to Freeman lately. The two hooked up for nine touchdowns and he was first in the league with plays of 40 yards with eight. Did i forget to mention he plays the Lions twice?
TE Dallas Clark Indianapolis
*Projected Round: seventh
- Doesn't it make you sleep good at night knowing one of your players rests in the hands of Peyton Manning? Diamond Dallas is the closest thing to a receiver when he is on the field. The problem is just that, staying on the field.
If he can stay out of the ice tub look for him to at least match his total of six touchdowns from last year.
Def Vikings Minnesota
*Projected round: 11-13
- No one wants to be "that guy" that takes the first defense, so ill wait until the later rounds. Minnesota has one of the best stop units in football and most of all can get to the quarterback.
K Stephen Gostkowski New England
*Projected Round: 11-13
- The Patriots are always at the top of the league in scoring. I don't see anything changing this year.
Bench RB Derrick Ward Tampa Bay
*Projected Round 8-10
- Trying to break out in a Tampa Uniform. He falls because of the split carries with Earnest Graham.
Bench RB Jamal Lewis Cleveland
*Projected Round 8-10
- Lets see if Jamal can bounce back one more time with a new coaching regimen in Cleveland.
Bench RB Knowshon Moreno TBD
*Projected Round 8-10
-Depending on where he goes, Knowshon will be drafted to score touchdowns at the NFL level. He runs with a nasty attitude.
Bench WR Laveranues Coles
* Projected Round 11
- Has a chance to have Houshmazilli like numbers with a quarterback talent in Carson Palmer.
