Feeding the NFL Trade-Rumor Beast: Tony Scheffler to Cleveland?
While a rumor was invented via BroncosFreak.com that the Browns could potentially become trade partners with the Jay Cutler fiasco, another trade rumor could surface in the coming weeks or months involving these two teams.
It has been speculated that the Broncos are shopping tight end Tony Scheffler, who has been a backup in Denver since the signing of Daniel Graham.
The Broncos only have two tight ends as it stands right now, but there is talk of converting running back Peyton Hillis back to his normal fullback/h-back position which would leave Scheffler the odd-man out.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Undoubtedly, the Broncos couldfind a spot on the field for Scheffler, but there is nothing wrong with speculating on trade rumors at this point in the season.
Cleveland has recently traded their top tight end Kellen Winslow to Tampa Bay, and may be looking to add another receiving tight end. Here is an interesting thought.
Scheffler has one year remaining on his rookie contract, and so does Cleveland wide receiver Braylon Edwards. While the Browns would probably not be willing to part with Edwards for just Scheffler, the Broncos could throw in a third round pick as well.
Again, I am not promoting this trade in any way. Tony Scheffler is one of my very favorite players, and I don't see how he does not fit in the new offensive scheme. This move could tork Jay Cutler off again, and it may be best to stay away from it for the time being.
Terrell Owens a good fit for Denver?
The Broncos could be losing Pro Bowl wide receiver Brandon Marshall to a potential eight game suspension, and if Owens is willing to take an "I want to win now" discount, the Broncos could be in the market for him. I do not think any Denver fan would object to him signing a one or two year deal.
Vonnie Holliday to Broncos?
Free agent defensive end Vonnie Holliday was in for a visit to Denver today, but no word was confirmed as to whether or not he and the Broncos had agreed to a contract.
More roster moves
Add quarterback Chris Simms and running back LaMont Jordan to the list of Denver free agent signings. Simms, Jordan, J.J. Arrington, Correll Buckhalter, Jabar Gaffney, Ronald Fields, Andra Davis, Andre' Goodman, Renaldo Hill, Brian Dawkins, Lonie Paxton, and Darrell Reid have joined the Broncos this offseason as free agents.
