FIFA 13 Release, NBA 2K13 My Team Introduced and More on Franchise Mode
This week may as well be designated as virtual world football week. With FIFA 13 releasing via EA Season Pass on Friday and the full version due on Tuesday with Pro Evolution Soccer 2013, the beautiful game will rule console sports gaming.
Even with world football taking center stage, two other major sports franchises are still making noise.
NBA 2K13

2K Sports recently released its developer insight video for the My Team feature. It has some exciting elements, but in the video, I examine one of the criticisms it is receiving from some gamers.
WWE 13
With Jerry "The King" Lawler's health stabilizing, THQ and the WWE are beginning to churn out details about WWE 13 again. I discuss two new game modes and the latest batch of finisher and entrance videos released.
Extras
How many people are familiar with the NBA 2K series on PC? If you aren't, you may be missing out on a cool alternative experience to the game. In the extras section, I touch on the various mods only available for NBA 2K on PC.
Other Stuff
The Franchiseplay YouTube channel is going to be hitting world football and NBA 2K13 hard in the coming week. The major releases from the FIFA and PES series, as well as the demo for NBA 2K13, will be on full display.
My regular series centered around NCAA Football 13, Madden 13 and WWE 13 news will get some attention as well.
