Dear WWE #2: Turn John Cena Heel and Turn Randy Orton Face
In my second installment of "Dear WWE" I will discuss why I feel John Cena should turn Heel and why Randy Orton should turn face.
John Cena has been a face for most of his career, and he has been a fan favorite for a large amount of that time. Lately it seems that people are beginning to sour on Cena. He goes to some cities and gets a mixed reaction at best, but some cities he gets booed heavily.
The reason is people are tired of seeing super Cena in these situations where he is supposed to be the underdog. The guy is built like a brick shit house and we are supposed to believe that he is the underdog?

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
If Cena were to get a run as a heel I think he could rise up even higher in the WWE. Plenty of people compare Cena to the Rock because of their similar rise to stardom and the fact that they are both very loud mouth pieces for the WWE. The Heel runs were what made The Rock great. Especially his first run with the Nation of Domination.
Cena is now experiencing a similar experience, and that's that people are tired of seeing him smile and kiss up to everybody. If Cena were to be a heel it would be more convincing from a visual standpoint. There are not many on the roster who can compare the size:speed ratio that Cena has. He has been up against every single heel so many times that they started putting him in matches with other faces.
What would be great to see is Cena going insane during one taping and taking out everybody at ringside, then the next week he comes out and says something to the effect of hes sick of being booed by the fans he has worked so hard for, and now its time for Cena to fight for Cena. Just my opinion.
As for Orton. I think its safe to say that after the reaction he got from winning the rumble that people are ready to cheer for Randy Orton. He has a good look, a decent moveset and has been champion a couple of times.
People cheering for a heel is how the likes of Stone Cold and HHH got face pushes. Orton has been receiving mixed reactions from crowds. Sometimes it sounds as if he is getting a half and half reaction from the crowd, while other time he gets cheered more than anyone else.
Orton has been a heel for about 95% of his pro career. Its time for a change. I think that a feud with drawing power would be Edge vs Orton. The two were tag champs together and have been opponents as well. They have a similar size while having totally opposite looks. Its a money maker without a doubt.
I know that Cena turning heel is less likely due to his high merch sales, but a face turn for Orton would be easy to pull off. Just have Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase turn on him and call him weak. Then have Orton RKO both of them and walk away a face.
Let me know your thoughts and thanks for reading.
