Robert Guerrero Headlines HBO's BAD Saturday Night
HBO's Boxing After Dark or BAD tends to highlight the up and coming younger talent and gives them a chance at exposure to world wide fame.
BAD usually is shown later on at night, 10 PM Pacific Time, than its more prime time World Championship Boxing which usually showcases already established house hold names.
This Saturday night we have a great triple header full of exciting up and coming fighters on HBO's BAD.
First we have undefeated James Kirkland (24-0, 21 KOs) of Austin, Texas taking on Joel Julio (34-2, 31 KOs) from Monteria, Columbia. Both of these fighters are exciting and aggressive and most importantly both have power in this scheduled 10 round junior middleweight bout.
Next we have the popular rising prospect Victor Ortiz (23-1-1, 18 KOs) from Oxnard, California against top contender Mike Arnaoutis (21-2-2, 10 KOs) from Atlantic City in a scheduled 12 round fight. Ortiz looks to continue to impress with victories against top rated contenders in this junior welterweight fight.
Then comes two-time featherweight champ Robert Guerrero (23-1-1, 16 KOs) from Gilroy, California taking on undefeated Daud Yordan (23-0, 17 KOs) from Kalimantan, Indonesia in a scheduled 10-round junior lightweight contest.
Personally If I want to see Robert "the Ghost" Guerrero take on an undefeated Indonesian fighter I would prefer it to be undefeated featherweight champion Chris John, but apparently The Ghost is looking to get a title at junior lightweight instead.
KING J's Predictions:
Kirkland Late TKO
Ortiz UD
Guerrero Early Stoppage
