Week 2 Fantasy Football Projections: Stevan Ridley and RBs with Perfect Matchups
With Week 2's slate of NFL matchups set to kickoff on Sunday afternoon, it's time to project which fantasy players will have the biggest games this weekend.
Here, we will focus on running backs with perfect matchups in Week 2. Whether they are coming off a monster season-opening performance, going up against a wretched run defense or both, these guys will put up fantasy points in bunches in Week 2.
Let's begin.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Stevan Ridley, New England Patriots
Patriots RB Stevan Ridley had fantasy owners smiling last weekend when he ran wild against the Tennessee Titans. He finished with 21 carries for 125 yards and a score.
In Week 2, New England will host the Arizona Cardinals, who allowed 115 rushing yards to the Seattle Seahawks at home in Week 1.
Ridley comes into the game averaging six yards per carry, which means Bill Belichick will be looking to get him plenty of carries throughout.
Week 2 Projection: 23 carries, 95 yards, 2 touchdowns
Willis McGahee, Denver Broncos
Willis McGahee struggled to reel off any big runs against the stout Pittsburgh Steelers defense in Week 1, but that will change this weekend.
McGahee and the Denver Broncos will take on the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football. Atlanta allowed 152 rushing yards to the Kansas City Chiefs in their season opener, surrendering 4.6 yards per carry on average.
McGahee is averaging four yards per carry already this season and rushed for nearly 1,200 yards in 2011. Look for the Broncos veteran to put up big numbers on the ground with the Falcons D paying plenty of attention to Peyton Manning on Monday night.
Week 2 Projection: 22 carries, 105 yards, 1 touchdown
BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Cincinnati Bengals
The Philadelphia Eagles found yards on the ground easy to come by against the Cleveland Browns in Week 1, and so will the Bengals' BenJarvus Green-Ellis this weekend.
The Law Firm rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown against Baltimore on just 18 carries. With the Browns allowing five yards per carry thus far in 2012, look for Green-Ellis to thrive out of the Cincinnati backfield.
The former New England Patriot was a 1,000-yard rusher in 2010 and is on pace to surpass that milestone yet again this fall.
Cleveland looks dreadful early and I fully expect Green-Ellis to benefit from that in Week 2.
Week 2 Projection: 20 carries, 110 yards, 2 touchdowns
