Hopefully, Lawler will continue the good fight. I, for one, will miss his commentary while he is gone. Especially considering he has been a mainstay for the better part of 13 years.
Earlier Wednesday morning, Michael Cole was on Fox & Friends and according to ProWrestling.net, stated that Lawler wrestles 100-150 times a year, splitting ring time between Independents and the WWE. Let's face it, at 62 Lawler really needs to consider slowing down his in-ring performances.
In the end, "The King" still has a long road ahead, and we will probably be without his charm for several weeks or months to come. Luckily for the WWE, it has several stars who are great on the mic and can fill in during Lawler's absence.
Well, I guess we will have to wait and see what's in store for Lawler and the Raw commentary team.
