2012 Fantasy Football Week 2 Team Defense Rankings
With an exciting first week under our belts, here are the LestersLegends 2012 Week 2 fantasy football team defense rankings.
1. Houston Texans
The Texans defense looked rock solid in Week 1. The team are tied with the fewest points allowed so far (10), and face the Jacksonville Jaguars, which should lead to a high defensive point total once again.

2. New England Patriots
The Patriots looked good against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Facing the Arizona Cardinals at home should keep them near the top of the early-season defensive rankings.
3. Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals got chewed up in Week 1, but I think that’s more an indication of how good the Baltimore Ravens are. They should destroy the Cleveland Browns.
4. New York Giants
The Giants gave up a ton of yardage to the Dallas Cowboys, but should bounce back against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home.
5. Pittsburgh Steelers
Do I think the New York Jets offense is suddenly for real? Not exactly. I think Pittsburgh’s defense will get the media talking about Tim Tebow again.
6. Oakland Raiders
The Raiders allowed the fifth fewest yards (258) to the San Diego Chargers. They should continue to be solid against Miami.
7. Washington Redskins
The Redskins held their own against the New Orleans Saints. The St Louis Rams should be a much better matchup.
8. Baltimore Ravens
Michael Vick looked horrible against the Browns last week. Baltimore should keep the offense somewhat in check.
9. San Francisco 49ers
The Niners have a tough match-up against the Lions, but they are still a top ten fantasy defense.
10. San Diego Chargers
The Chargers held the Raiders to 14 points. Tennessee has question marks on offense.
11. Dallas Cowboys
DeMarcus Ware should be able to get to the QB when the Cowboys take on the Seattle Seahawks. Pete Carroll's club struggled to move the chains in the opener.
12. New York Jets
Without a reliable running game, the Steelers aren’t as explosive on offense, which should help the Jets.
13. Minnesota Vikings
If nothing else, I expect Jared Allen to get to Andrew Luck.
14. Philadelphia Eagles
As explosive as the Ravens looked, I wouldn’t want Philly’s defense in my fantasy lineup this week.
15. Chicago Bears
The Bears have the potential to put up multiple sacks. I just wouldn’t start them against the Green Bay Packers.
16. Detroit Lions
After the handshake kerfuffle, the Lions will be fired up to face the San Francisco 49ers. I still wouldn’t start them, though.
