Biggest Cinderella: Georgia
The worst team in the SEC equaled their conference win total for the season in one weekend, capturing a most unlikely automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Biggest Upset: Coppin State 62 Morgan State 60
Morgan State's 14-2 conference record didn't intimidate the Eagles of Coppin State, who pulled off this dramatic victory and became the first 20-loss team ever to qualify for the Big Dance.
Best Shot: Blake Hoffarber, Minnesota
The high school legend took a page out of Christian Laetner's playbook in hitting a turn-around buzzer shot after a full court pass to give the Gophers a one-point win and take Indiana out of the Big Ten tourney.
Team that helped themselves the most: Arkansas
The Razorbacks were squarely on the bubble heading into the SEC tourney, but nabbed wins over Tennessee and Vanderbilt and a trip to the finals to assure themselves of a bid.
Team that hurt themselves the most: Syracuse
The Orange still had a shot at the dance if they could beat (or even just play with) Georgtown in the quarterfinals of the Big East tournament, but they couldn't even get there as they fell to Villanova in the first round.
