Ken Shamrock vs Bobby Lashly Set—But Why?

Ken shamrock looked like he was on the road to beat tank then retiree. But it looks like there will be a bump in that road. A 265lb 6'4" Bump. The name of that bump is Bobby Lashly a Young huge hungry fighter. He only has one fight under his belt. But he is a NCAA champion.

Ken is naturally 205 lbs and i wont imagine him fighting any heavier. so ken will be at a AT LEAST 60lb weight advantage and that's if Bobby doesn't balloon up after weigh ins.And yes Ken beat a man who weighed more and was taller but that man looked like he was one big mac away from a heart attack. Lashly is All muscle and full of power.

Less then three weeks away on March 21 Ken will face his biggest challenge to date. Part of Roy Jones Jr's March Badness card which is a mix of Boxing fights and MMA.

How can ken beat this Behemoth? I don't see him able to take him down do to the strength and NCAA Wrestling background. Ken will have to try to do what he did to Ross Clifton.

Wait circle be patient and send him down to the mat then try to sub him. Think of this as a Less talented version of Couture vs lesnar. Ken will have to be quicker and control the ground game if he can get him there.

Little is known about lashlys Jaw and sub game. His first and only mma fight ended quick after his oponent sufferd a cut from a thunderes barage of fists. So maybe just maybe ken can expose a weak jaw and a untrained Sub defence.

How I see it going down is ken getting caught and Tkod in the first. But hell maybe the old veteran can pull of one more mirical. And then hopefully retiere. I mean the man is a warrior and I respect his heart.

Sometimes however fighters need to be saved from themselves. I for one would love to see ken expose a potential weak jaw and get one more sub.

My jaw wont drop however if ken goes down for the count one last time.

Also on that card we will see Seth "Kimbo killer" Petrozelli take on former WEC light heavyweight champion Doug "The Rhino" Marshall.

Also former IFL HW champion Roy Nelson will take on Jeff "the snow man" Monson. This fight will be live on PPV.

Lets hope for Kens sake this is his Last fight wether he goes down in a blaze of glory. Or just plain goes down.
