Yankees End Ballgame in a 5-5 Tie
The Yankees pounded Mike Hampton today, but they wound up giving back their 3-0 lead. Wang took the ball to start the game, and he threw two scoreless frames. Steven Jackson and Wilkins De La Rosa pitched very well today. George Kontos came into the game and coughed up 3 runs in the 8th inning, which tied the game at 5-5. Angel Berroa went 2-3, with two runs and 1 RBI. Melky went 2-3, while picking up a run and 2 RBI’s.
