It's Raining, It's Pouring, It's Houshmandzadehing!
Another big name has found a home this offseason. It is T.J. Houshmandzadeh (who's your momma). He's not going to Minnesota, the Eagles, or going to Bungle country. He's heading to rainy day Seattle to play with the Seahawks.
I was surprised when I first heard the news. Why does T.J want to go to the Seahawks, a team not performing to expectations? The Seahawks think otherwise.
This signing means a few things:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
1. The Seahawks are going in a different direction in the draft. The reports of Seattle taking Michael Crabtree may now go away after his announced surgery. Would the Seahawks take Mark Sanchez if available?
2. They are thinking NFC West Champs. Sounds a little extreme, but when you think about it, it's not. Maybe they hired a new medical staff! The Seahawks were decimated with injuries, on both the offensive and defensive side.
They are also considering the dismantling of the Arizona Cardinals. The Cards have already lost their offensive coordinator Todd Haley, Kurt Warner may be heading elsewhere, and Anquan Boldin wants out. It's looks like the perfect time to make a big splash.
I am hoping Houz can make an impact with the Seahawks. With this acquisition I will give them the benefit of the doubt by slotting them as the second-best team in the NFC West. They can even jump to first if Warner doesn't re-sign.
It's not just raining in Seattle, its Houshmandzadehing!
