Jungle Bird of US Open Fame Drops Dance at Notre Dame vs. Navy Game
If you wanted a "Where Are They Now?" update on the odd bird who video-bombed Webb Simpson at the U.S. Open, he was at the recent Notre Dame vs. Navy game.
Many of you out there will be hit with a sudden realization that hey, I remember that nut case. If you are a fan of sports and off-the-wall happenings on the field of battle, then you certainly do.
The man doing what appears to be a jig in the video (h/t NBC Sports) is the same Jungle Bird who video-bombed a beautiful moment for golfer Webb Simpson.
This time around, Jungle Bird manages to infuse a little more of his personality despite not having a moment to bird-call the audience. He drops the football and dances a jig that any receiver would be proud to call his own.
When we were told the Notre Dame opener would be in Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland, we knew there was going to be something special for all of us. What we didn't account for was seeing an old friend make another classic appearance before what we presume to be a night in a jail cell.
Don't let that stop you, Jungle Bird.
I can't wait to see where this wild man pops up next. March Madness, the Super Bowl and every other big-ticket event are all fair game.
Just when you least expect it, a Jungle Bird party breaks out.
