NBA2K13: Third Developer Insight Focuses on Animations
The developers for the NBA 2K series have all but mastered presentation in their video games, and the marketing team is doing a great job of strategically revealing the details for NBA 2K13.
Earlier this week, they tied up a loose end by completing the 1992 Dream Team by coming to an agreement to include Scottie Pippen. But that wasn't all—the 2K team also announced Allen Iverson would be coming back to the game.
Here is the tweet that confirmed the news from 2K Sports:
"#NBA2K13 features dozens of legends including Shaq, Pippen & Allen Iverson!. Check out some legendary screenshots here: 2kgam.es/NBA2K13

A.I. is the original cover athlete for the series. He appeared on the cover of the first five versions of the game.
How many of you remember these games?

I'm excited to see if 2K is done adding legends. Reggie Miller anyone?
To wrap an already eventful week, 2K released the featured video, their third in the Developer Insight series. The video debuted live from the PAX show in Seattle, WA on Friday.
This time, the focus was animation.
It seems in every video, the 2K team shows off a new rookie from this year's game. This time, Harrison Barnes of the Golden State Warriors is the new blood on display.
As you can see from the feature picture, LeBron James is also hanging around—literally.
With each video, 2K has succeeded in raising the excitement, and the interest surrounding NBA 2K13.
The game releases on October 2 for Xbox 360, PS3, Nintendo Wii and PC. Check out the video to get some in-depth information on the animation concepts for the game.
