Madden 13: 3 Features This Year's Version Could Have Used
Madden lovers are extremely pumped about this year's version, and for good reason.
With the brand new Infinity Engine that brings real-time physics to the playing field, Madden '13 is the smoothest running football simulation ever.
There are other new features that make this game a must-have. The advanced career mode is surely to be a fan-favorite, as it allows you to be any active player in addition to a list of NFL legends.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Who wouldn't want to shred defenses with the likes of Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, Jerry Rice and more?
However, a game of this caliber presents an unlimited amount of possibilities. Here are three features EA Sports could/should have used.
Washed-Up Wide Receiver Mode
Headlined by Chad Johnson and Terrell Owens, here is a mode that allows you to stir things up with the drama queens themselves.
Decide whether you want to argue with your fiancé over a box of condoms, cry in a press conference about the media hating on your quarterback or do sit-ups in your driveway while your agents rings off endless counts of "next question."
This mode would allow you to predict the unpredictable. Join an NFL team for preseason, with the objective of finding a way to get released. If you make the 53-man roster, try again.
Get bored with the NFL? Try out for a MLS or indoor football team.
There is so much potential for this mode. Fans would never be able to put down the sticks.
Harrison-Goodell Oklahoma Drill
James Harrison and Roger Goodell's relationship—or lack thereof—has been well-documented the past few seasons.
While Harrison probably has a dartboard with Goodell's face on it, this mode would allow the two to release all of their animosity in a classic Oklahoma drill. With Goodell lined up at running back and Harrison as the linebacker, this smash mouth game would produce collision after collision with these foes.
How do you play? Choose which side of the rivalry you'd like to be on. If you are Goodell, the goal is to truck Harrison or break his ankles with a spin move. For Harrison, the objective is to knock off Goodell's helmet with a hit that is sure to draw a fine.
The better the hit, the bigger the fine. See what your high score will be.
Brett Favre Mode
What is the NFL without Brett Favre? John Madden probably loves him more than his own sons, providing the perfect reason to put him in the game.
This mode would allow you to do all types of things with the legendary quarterback. Relive his glory days by leading fourth quarter drives in snowy Lambeau Field. Create your own Wrangler commercials. Spy on ESPN's Rachel Nichols as she sleeps in your front yard. But wait, there's more.
Send text messages to Jenn Sterger. Ride your John Deere for hours at a time. Shoot paint balls at Aaron Rodgers.
And the best feature of this mode: come back at the age of 60 and lead a team to the Super Bowl.
This addicting mode would cause gamers to lose many hours of sleep, guaranteed.
