Titans WR Kenny Britt Reportedly Suspended for 1 Game by NFL
It's safe to say Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt has dodged a major bullet.
According to The Tennessean's Jim Wyatt, the often-handcuffed wideout has received his suspension from the NFL, and it's not nearly as harsh as what people were expecting:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Let's take a look at this news.
What It Means
It means the Titans and Britt are extremely fortunate. Britt, who has been dealing with knee issues and was just removed from the physically unable to perform list, wasn't even a guarantee to suit up in Week 1.
He might as well serve a suspension while he's sitting on the bench getting rested up for the season.
What's more, things could have been much, much worse in terms of length of the punishment.
According to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio (via PFT's Josh Alper), Britt, who was taken in for a DUI last month, has been arrested eight times in the past three years, with the number of altercations running up to 10.
Britt should take his one-week suspension and run.
What Happens Next
Britt can still appeal the suspension, but he would be crazy not to accept it. Should he go forth with the punishment, a return in Week 2—knees permitting—seems likely.
In turn, his season debut would come against the San Diego Chargers on Sept. 16.
With Britt likely out for Week 1 against the New England Patriots, look for rookie Kendall Wright and Nate Washington to get plenty of Jake Locker's attention in his absence.
