Breaking News: Devon and Bully Ray May Depart from TNA Wrestling

Two top stars are slated to leave TNA Wrestling due to their inability to negotiate contracts. These two stars have made a noticeable impression on the current TNA product, and have revamped themselves to successfully bring an entirely different element to their careers.

These superstars are none other than Devon and Bully Ray.

Devon suggested on his Twitter account that his departure from the company is imminent.

He tweeted (via sescoops.com):

I would like to thank the tna fans for making the last seven years fun . im sure we will see each other again down the road real soon.

im ready to see where god bring me to next. i cant wait . i see big thing on the way

o and HELL NO IM NOT RETIRING.

The current status of the TNA television championship is up in the air. Hulk Hogan announced on a previous episode of TNA Wrestling that the title was supposed to be defended every week to regain its prestige, but that only lasted a few weeks.

This is the only universal midcard title that the company has, so it would be a detriment to TNA if the title becomes defunct.

Bully Ray is also likely leaving the company after the Bound for Glory PPV, as he has yet to come to a contractual agreement.

He tweeted:

The TNA roster will be affected by their departures. Each man did an astonishing job revamping his career when the twilight of their tag team partnership approached. They got in much better shape, Devon won a singles title and Bully Ray became one of the best heels in the company, dabbling in the main event picture.

It is indeed a rarity to see both tag team superstars become successful in the same company after teaming for such a long time.

As of this article, there is no word on if the WWE has contacted either one of them. If anything changes, it will be updated.

***Update: it has been recently reported that Bully Ray has resigned a two year contract with TNA***
