Ric Flair Getting Divorced Again, Update on His Future in WWE
Just what is going on with Ric Flair?
Since leaving TNA earlier this year, the WWE Hall of Famer looks to have been keeping a low profile, while speculation about his future in the business flies around.
In this week's (subscribers-only) Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer offers some updates, both private and professional, on the WWE legend.

He first notes that Flair's tumultuous relationship with his wife, Jacqueline Beems, is coming to an end—meaning Flair is getting a divorce for the fourth time (an eyebrow-raising number even by pro wrestling standards):
"Due partially to the second domestic violence issue from late June where Jacqueline Beems allegedly attacked Ric Flair, the couple is going through a divorce. That would be Flair’s fourth.
"
Meltzer then notes some current ideas that are being thrown WWE for what to do with the star when his no-compete contract runs out, even though the prevailing opinion is that TNA's current lawsuit against WWE for contract tampering will prevent them from bringing him in any time soon:
"There was talk surfacing of Flair replacing Guerrero with Ziggler but I don’t know how serious that is. Plus, even though Flair can legally start with WWE on 9/10, WWE has yet to sign anyone from TNA since the lawsuit was filed.
"
These updates are interesting. While the news about Flair's divorce is certainly sad, anyone who has been following the very public story of his current marriage cannot be at all surprised.
It was also be intriguing to see if WWE is merely throwing out casual ideas for a potential return and wishes to steer clear of Flair due to legal issues, or if they intend to bring him in as soon as they can and risk any potential legal ramifications stemming from the TNA lawsuit.
