Madden 13 Player Ratings: Re-Ranking EA Sports' Top 10 Quarterbacks
With another day of Madden 13 football under our belts, it’s time to talk about and re-rank the quarterback ratings in this year’s edition of the EA Sports video game.
We have already done this process for running backs, wide receivers and defensive players, but we have saved everyone’s favorites for last; the quarterbacks.
All of the following players deserved their top-10 honor, but the ratings and order were just slightly off.

What Changed?
After the top-three quarterbacks, there is a huge discrepancy between fact and fiction on this list.
As much as the EA Sports team wants to tout Eli Manning and Ben Roethlisberger, there is no way that Eli should be any higher than No. 6 and Big Ben barely deserves to be on this list.
Stars like Matt Stafford and Michael Vick are much more talented quarterbacks that should translate to a higher ranking in the game than almost anyone besides the big three.
The other necessary change was kicking Tony Romo from the top 10 and including the regular-season juggernaut Matt Ryan to the list. Now that those changes have been made, the list looks much more accurate.
What Stayed the Same?
While Madden 13 has done its best to mimic real life, there is no one who will argue against the top three quarterbacks in the league being Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady and Drew Brees.
While the order of the three is up for debate, their supremacy is not.
Stars like Peyton Manning and Philip Rivers have hovered around the same spot that EA Sports put them, while Eli dropped just two spots.
As much as there were wholesale changes in this list, it was very close to truth and the developers deserve immense credit for that.
