Madden 13 Release: Most Entertaining Aspects of Legendary Video Game

Madden 13 is officially out in stores across the nation, and NFL and video game enthusiasts alike now have an excuse to call in sick this summer. 

If you're like me, then you always wait a day or two after the release to let the dust settle and read up on the most recent reviews. 

This year, they all agree.

Madden 13 is a hit. The improved physics and enhanced gameplay make for a much better user experience and keep the game feeling fresh. 

Here we take a closer look at some of the most entertaining aspects of the legendary EA title.

Connected Careers

Of course, traditional Madden 13 lovers like myself will probably wait until they're bored of winning Super Bowls in Franchise mode before they even think about giving the brand-new Connected Careers mode a shot. 

Big mistake.

Why? Because this new gameplay mode allows gamers to create a legacy in the NFL as a player, coach or legend, and then manage it from anywhere at anytime. 

This new mode allows gamers to personalize the Madden experience and adds a huge dose of creativity to the game. 

Improved Physics

Sure, it's not flawless and it can certainly take some getting used to, but the new improved physics in Madden 13 make the game feel so much more like real life. 

Every hit, no matter how small or big will fuel your desire to play another down.

It seemed that in Madden video games of the past that momentum wasn't an issue, and that defenders could somehow make bone-crushing hits on ball carriers even if they were running in the same direction.

That no longer exists in Madden 13, as only authentic momentum exists, allowing for realistic tackles and exciting runs and catches. 

Presentation 

For me, the ability for a football video game to mimic a real-life broadcast is the most important aspect to consider before shelling out the $60.

When I'm struggling on the scoreboard, I like to take joy in the game's little details. In Madden 13, there are countless little details to keep users engaged. 

From the unique jersey details to the real life broadcast duo CBS Sports' Jim Nantz and Phil Simms, Madden 13 puts other sports game to shame in terms of presentation. 

After analyzing some of Madden 13's top features and greatest qualities, it's safe to say that this year's edition earns an A, and is a must-own for every NFL fan.
