Eugene Wong Sinks Epic Eagle at Canadian Tour Championship

Gabe ZaldivarJun 7, 2018

This shot is both crazy and remarkable, and you just have to see it for yourself.

CanTour.com reports (h/t Deadspin) Eugene Wong managed to sink an eagle from distance to capture the 2012 Canadian Tour Championship.

The 21-year old took out a nine iron with about 133 yards to cover per the report. Down one shot, he needed some magic to make sure he remained in contention.

Well, he did one better.

We will let Wong set up the moment for you.

"

There's a funny story to that shot. My caddie and I were walking up the fairway, and he said 'it would be nice to hole it right now, wouldn't it? I said 'yeah, it would.

"

As if harnessing some golf Nostradamus, Wong sank his shot just as he and his caddy offered just moments before.

We may just see a great deal more of Wong in the future. Understandably, the young man is loving life right now, ready to take on the pros with an arsenal of increasing swag.

"

My confidence is really high now. I know I can compete with the pros and I'm happy to get my first win, so there's one milestone down.

"

Prepare yourselves accordingly, PGA superstars. Because Wong only needs an iron and about 130 yards of open countryside to make us all shake our heads in disbelief.
