Raiders vs. Seahawks: TV Schedule, Live Stream, Radio, Game Time and More

Alex HallAug 28, 2012

The final NFL preseason week is finally upon us, with the Seattle Seahawks and Oakland Raiders set to face off in the last chance for both teams to iron out their respective wrinkles.

The Seahawks come into the contest on the heels of back-to-back dominant performances against the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos. Seattle has scored 74 points over the last two games, with the defense only surrendering 24 in the process.

Russell Wilson will start his second preseason game and first since being named Seattle's regular-season starter, looking to build off his performance against the Chiefs.

The Raiders defense will hope to shut down Wilson and the opposing offense the same way it did Detroit last week when the Lions scored just 20 points.

That might be easier said than done for Oakland, but this is a team that also kept the Dallas Cowboys to just a field goal awhile back.

Here's the guide for everything you need to know about both teams' final preseason bout.

What They're Saying

Raiders quarterback Carson Palmer is about to start his first full season with the team and has voiced his concern about the lack of time he's practiced with wideouts Denarius Moore and Jacoby Ford.

Palmer recently spoke about his concern with Steve Corkran of the San Jose Mercury News, saying:

"

When they're back, it's not easy to get up off the couch, or a walking boot, or off crutches and show up and play. There's going to be a little bit of a process of getting their legs back and their conditioning back, but also their minds and bodies to the speed of the game.

"

Seahawks Player to Watch: Russell Wilson

While going with the starting quarterback here might not be the most out-of-the-box thinking, don't think head coach Pete Carroll wont be watching to see how Wilson responds to winning the starting job.

Wilson has been nothing short of fantastic this preseason, coming off his 185-yard, two-touchdown performance against the Chiefs. The 12th man will be looking to see similar results from the new starter against Oakland, and it should get just that.

The Raiders are just two contests removed from surrendering 31 points to the Cardinals, giving up a touchdown to John Skelton, who only threw the ball three times all game.

Raiders Player to Watch: Darren McFadden

Darren McFadden has looked solid in his last two preseason games, highlighted by his 22-yard run against Arizona a few weeks back.

Run DMC has looked his usual impressive self so far, but the Seahawks defense is a little stingier than the Cardinals' and just as talented as the Lions unit he faced a week ago.

The Raiders offense may love the deep ball, but with Moore and Ford likely out, the first team will rely on its dynamic running back early and often in this one.

The 'Hawks will be a great final test for McFadden heading into the season, and it will be interesting to see how he fares against this defense.

Prediction: Seahawks 30, Raiders 24

Nothing against the Raiders, the two teams are evenly matched, but Seattle will want this preseason victory more. The Seahawks will want Wilson heading into the regular season with two straight wins under his belt, even if they are exhibition bouts.
