I would much rather face the Scousers of the other 2 English teams in the CL.This said though Liverpool are a bit behind us in the standings in the Prem title, they are a different team in Europe. The likes of Torres and Gerrard will have to be contained, that will be key. My initial thoughts on the 2 legged games against the Kop was that we just might be complacent in the games. We should be wary of that. We will be seeing too much of the Rafas men come April, thrice in 6 days infact! The games are all cluttering up, but I couldn't be arsed to look into our fixture schedule and analyse further. Lets take it as it comes.

Commenting on the draw Le Prof said-
“It is an interesting and challenging draw,”...
...“They raise their game in the Champions League. We know we can beat them and therefore it is the form of the day that will be the decider. We will focus and concentrate to be at our best on the day."

Wenger also didn't think it a particular problem to play an English team in the next round of the CL saying-
“Not especially,” he said. “You know when you have four clubs from England in the Quarter-Final, you will have to play one or two at some stage."
“If you want to go to the final and win the final you have to get through that.”

On to matters of more immediate importance and arguably of more signifcance in our season, we play Boro today at the The Grove. The corresponding fixture at the Riverside is laden with bitter memories for us Gooners. It was our only loss of the season in the Premiership, and it's payback time. Besides this ,we need to keep in touch with Man USA who look set to go atop the Prem by a point. We need the three points today, after 3 straight draws domestically, it will give us the confidence going in for the final push of the title. We do have RVP back, Kolo and Theo back for this one, the only absentees being Rosicky, Diaby and ofcourse Dudu.

Wenger speaks about the strength of the squad and believes that we can win something this year.
Arsene said-
“Everyone can say what they want,” he said. “But I remind them that we just knocked Milan out and we were under huge pressure from everybody. People predicted we would go out and we went through in a convincing way."
Keep the faith me Gooners.

The game is on at 17.15 UK time and 10.45 India time on Star Sports.

Come on you Gunners!!!
