Marshall Faulk: Enemy of the Empire State
I couldn't believe my ears when I stepped out briefly to grab some take-out. Thankfully I have Sirius NFL Radio tuned in at all times. I was "lucky" enough to hear Marshall Faulk on Total Access attempting to atone for his previous nights evaluation to ALL of the upset Buffalo Bills fans.
He desperatly tried to defend himself when Rich Eisen brought the subject up of the violant reaction to Marshall's acounting of the "Franchise of the Bills" ...... Ooooops!
He acknowledged that he blunderd on the offensive line comment, "LT - I was wrong!" "RT - My facts were wrong!" and then said "I have info." Ooooooops! Rich Eisen says, "you mis-spoke." As we recently learned in the sports world there's a new phrase out there that I'd like to use here. "He mis-remembered."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Marshall went on to say how the Bills beat the JETS twice, and the Dolphins twice, and that they don't COUNT. Take those wins away and they are 3-13 instead of 7-9. "I'm just say'n..." "I'm just say'n..." "Maybe TWO wins."
Of course we ALL know that the New England Patriots were PERFECT during the same REGULAR season in 2007. I have to wonder though w/ Faulk's mentality, if those "SAME 4 games" the Patriots had to play in the AFC East as the Bills did - (Jets twice, & the Dolphins twice) didn't count, then where would they have finished the regular season at? (12-4)? I BET those 4 games counted for them though?
He was Rumbl'n, stumbl'n and fumbl'n . . . BIG TIME!!!
OHhhhhhhhhhh - Marshall. Marshall, Marshall...
(Sorry Chris B)........
Then to wrap the show up, when asked by Rich Eisen during the "4 downs segment"; question number 4 was:
Who is the most un-popular person in Buffalo?
1) Scott Norwood, 2) Willis McGahee, 3) Elliot Spitzer, 4) Or YOU . . . Marshall Faulk?
It was hands down. "It is ME!"
"I'm The Enemy of the Empire State," said Marshall Faulk.
