WWE SummerSlam 2012: Best Feuds for Brock Lesnar After Huge PPV
Despite Brock Lesnar Touting his retirement on Monday night, everyone knows that this was just an excuse to get him off television to save his dates until the next major pay-per-view comes around.
So knowing that Lesnar will be returning, we have to wonder just where WWE plans to go with him when he doesn't make his triumphant comeback.
It is difficult to forecast what is in store for Lesnar, just because you need a star big enough to wrestle him and find something compelling for the feud to sell buys.

Here are the best feuds for WWE to book Lesnar in when he does make his return to the company.
Brock Lesnar vs. WWE
This would have been much easier to do if Lesnar had defeated John Cena at Extreme Rules, because he would have gone through both Cena and Triple H in dominating fashion.
While it may not have the buzz it could have, there are a number of possibilities for a feud between Lesnar—this outsider who is doing things that no wrestler in the company does—and WWE—which feels threatened by this monster.
As mentioned before, though, Lesnar's limited dates seriously hinders the ability to actually do a feud between him and WWE. You need a lot of television time and build to make it work. I think there are ways WWE can make it work, but it will take some interesting storytelling.
Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H
I am including this one simply because I think it is the direction WWE will eventually take. Triple H has had his spirit—and arm—broken by Lesnar two times in four months.
Triple H is the hero that WWE needs, but he doesn't know if he can do it anymore after being destroyed at SummerSlam. He tapped out in that match, which was supposed to set up the big retirement sendoff before the show went off the air.
I don't necessarily want to see another match, but I think there is a much better storyline for the rematch than what we got leading up to SummerSlam. If it happens at Survivor Series, that would give some prestige to a show that often lacks in big matches.
Brock Lesnar vs. The Rock
With Rock going after the WWE title at the Royal Rumble, why wouldn't WWE want to set up a potential WrestleMania match between these two megastars?
If WWE wants to put the title on Rock leading up to WrestleMania 29, have Lesnar attack Rock after he wins the championship at the Royal Rumble. Lesnar has already run through everyone else, so why wouldn't he want what is supposed to be the crown jewel of the company?
Rock can be the hero who will stop this monster from terrorizing WWE, and he will do it on the biggest show of the year.
Of course, this would require WWE to abandon its potential plans for another Rock-Cena match at WrestleMania. I think this one is a long shot, but it would draw big money on the biggest show of the year if built up the right way.
