Latin America (2-0) vs. Japan (2-0)

The Latin American representatives from Aguadulce, Panama are piling up the runs in this tournament. The team defeated Uganda 9-3 before having another productive day at the plate in an 8-3 victory over Canada.

Panama will find it more difficult to get runners on base against the Tokyo-based team from Japan, who did not allow a run in either of their first two games.

Japan took care of Curaçao 7-0 before outlasting Chinese Taipei in a nine-inning thriller that ended 2-0.

This will be a battle between two talented teams with a chance to go very deep in the tournament, and it will surely be a fine display of talent and sportsmanship.

Goodlettsville, Tennessee (2-0) vs. San Antonio, Texas (2-0)

When: 8 p.m. ET

Watch: ESPN

The Goodlettsville, Tennessee youngsters are representing the Southeast region, and they have done this quite well thus far.

They won comfortably by a 12-1 score against Kearney, Nebraska before out-hitting Petaluma, California in a 9-6 victory.

But the Southwestern team from San Antonio, Texas has impressed in their opening contests as well. The team took an early lead against Parsippany, New Jersey and held on to win 5-2, then put on a Texas-sized performance at the plate in a 13-3 win over New Castle, Indiana.

The players from both these teams have showed remarkable focus and determination for such young athletes and will engage in an epic clash on Wednesday.
