Tom Brady or Peyton Manning: This Decade's Marino or Young
Tom Brady or Peyton Manning. The age-old battle. Red vs. Blue, Good vs. Evil, Glory over Shame. These two have fought in some of the NFL's greatest shootouts. In this article, I will categorize these two studs of the quarterback position as best I can. Then we will see who the better QB is.
I will start of with the elder of the two: Peyton Manning. Manning went to Tennessee which shocked many because his father Archie Manning went there. At UT he led the Volunteers to many wins. And by his sophomore year he was considered one of the if not THE best QB going into the '98 NFL Draft.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He was taken by the struggling Indianapolis Colts. He won his very first game against Ryan Leaf his main competition for best QB in the draft. In his next season he led the colts within a game of a playoff berth. The next season they made it but lost in the Wild Card round, In the 21st century the Colts became an elite team. Making it to the playoffs every year.
But it seemed that Peyton could never obtain "The Big One," or a Super Bowl title. This all changed in 2007 when the Colts finally made the hurdle over the New England Patriots and made it to the Super Bowl. They would be faced the Chicago Bears in the Super Bowl game. This time Manning would not be denied and he finally captured his first Super Bowl Ring. He was named the MVP of the Game. Peyton Manning continues to be a measuring block for QB's today in the NFL.
Tom Brady. He chose to go to Michigan, where he was the third-string QB for their team. He forwent his senior year to declare eligible for the NFL Draft. He was drafted in the sixth round by the New England Patriots as a back-up to Drew Bledsoe. When Bledsoe was injured and Brady took over the team en route to a Super Bowl title in 2001, and Bledsoe signed with the Bills the next season, Brady knew the job was his.
Instead of choking like many sophomore players would, Brady stepped up to the challenge and put up solid numbers in 2001. He had a stellar year and led his team to the postseason. While there, he led them to the Super Bowl.
With less than three minutes in the game, Brady showed his clutch and led the Patriots to the 20 and made it possible for Adam Vinatieri to kick the field goal to dethrone the reigning champion Rams. This led to his confidence being over rocketed and he went on to win two more Super Bowls.
He is known as the Iceman of the NFL; he is cool as ice in clutch in situations. This therefore gives him a edge as the best QB or our current decade.
