Wyndham Championship 2012: Final Round Leaderboard Updates, Highlights and More
The weather delayed the final round of the 2012 Wyndham Championship until Monday, but that didn't stop Sergio Garcia from shooting a final round 66 to win the tournament with a score of 18-under par.
Even in a tournament with plenty of low scores to be had, Garcia put on a great display that reminds us of that immense talent he has. It was his eighth career victory on the PGA Tour, and his first since the Players Championship in 2008.
Garcia was a surprise winner, at least based on the results he has posted in 2012. Prior to the Wyndham Championship, he had not finished higher than 13th in any tournament since February and missed the cut in two of his last three tournaments.

What We Learned
Sergio Garcia can still show flashes of brilliance
There was a time, long ago, when Garcia was thought to be the next big thing on the PGA Tour. Obviously, things did not work out for him that way, but every now and then he will remind us why we all thought so highly of him.
This victory has been nearly four years in the making, though he has won before that on the European Tour.
Even though Garcia will never be a major player on the PGA Tour, it is a nice reminder that he can still occasionally put everything together in order to win an event.
What Happens Next
Following the weather-delayed Wyndham Championship, the PGA Tour keeps rolling along with three tournaments over the next three weeks.
The Barclays, Deutsche Bank and BMW Championships are next on the agenda, before a one-week break to give players time to prepare for the Tour Championship and Ryder Cup at the end of September.
