Philadelphia at New England

Monday, Aug. 20 at 8 p.m. ET

While this game technically happens after the weekend is over (Monday night), the party never stops for the true NFL fans. Add in the fact that these bitter rivals always put on an amazing show and this will be a must-watch matchup.

Both the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots are being picked as Super Bowl contenders from their respect conferences and these familiar foes will have their best stars on the field in what should be the premier preseason matchup.

If you are looking for a taste of what you should expect from the 2012 season, look no further than the first quarter of the battle Monday night between the Patriots and the Eagles.

It will launch even the latest-blooming NFL fan into football frenzy!

NY Giants at NY Jets

Saturday, Aug. 18 at 7:00 p.m. ET

There is nothing more intriguing in Week 2 of the preseason than the battle for New York between the Jets and the Giants. While the boys in blue are coming off a Super Bowl win, it is gang green that has stolen all the headlines.

That’s the way Tom Coughlin and the Giants like it, though. With more questions than answers from the Jets, the Giants are expected to walk into this game and destroy the Jets.

The talk will be about when and in what formation Tim Tebow sees the field for the Jets, but the focus of this game should be on the defending world champion Giants and how they react to the hangover.

Either way you look at it, this game is storyline galore!

San Francisco at Houston

Saturday, Aug. 18 at 8:00 p.m. ET

While this matchup is far from the highlight of the rest of the games yet to be played in Week 2, this is one of the sleeper picks for a possible Super Bowl matchup in 2012.

Don’t sleep on the San Francisco 49ers or the Houston Texans this season. Both teams have stellar defenses and amazing rushing attacks that put them in contention to win every week.

In this battle of SEC-style football, this will be a defensive battle highlighted by the running ability and timely passing by both teams. Defense wins championships and this game will feature plenty of that.
