India vs. New Zealand: Second T20 Preview
As everyone knows, India lost the first T20 International against New Zealand, and lost it with ease.
But the battle is not over yet and like any true Indian, I hope the team wins the next one.
Now most importanly, India has to change its approach in the second of the two 20 over fixtures.
I don't think the line up will make a huge difference. Nor do I expect Rabindra Jadeja to get a look in.
In the batting line up I expect Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag to fire this time round. While I do expect M.S. Dhoni to do well. Suresh Raina most probably will fail this time round as he is pretty inconsistent with good knocks. Yuvraj Singh as well will most probably follow Raina.
The bowling was good and I am expecting it to be a bit better tomorrow. Zaheer Khan as predicted was good, Ishant Sharma was good but bowled too many No-Balls while Harbhajan Singh bowled well.
So I think it is reasonable to expect them to keep the Kiwis to about 160-170 maximum. India should chase that if they bat sensibly
As for New Zealand, I doubt if there would be any change either as they want their best line up so that they can affect a whitewash.
The Team's Batting was good and they looked to form partnerships, but they were troubled by the Indian pacers and also by Bhajji. So they will try to make sure they are handled and the rest are beaten up
Their bowling was exellent and will most propably remain like that. Though they were helped by the Indian batsmen and I hope they are not going to look for the same guidance this time round as it may not come.
Overall, I think this is going to be the real contest. The Indians getting a taste of conditions, somewhat know what to expect while the Kiwis will Try to make sure they come back with double venom this time.
It's the Kiwi 11 (Three million this time) with the India 11 (300 this time)
Let the the film be repeated thrice.
