Anticipation is sky high for WWE's SummerSlam 2012, and for good reason.

Wrestling fans will get to see the sport's top superstars throw down in a variety of unique, and unpredictable matchups this weekend.

The return of Brock Lesnar is sure to be an especially intriguing storyline, as he is set to square off with WWE COO Triple H in a match that has been dubbed "The Perfect Storm."

Here is everything you need to know in order to watch and joy the best that the WWE has to offer this year.

When: Sunday, August 19

Where: Staples Center, Los Angeles

Start Time: 8 p.m. ET

Must-See Matches

Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar

The Perfect Storm will come to an end at SummerSlam on Sunday night. Triple H and Brock Lesnar certainly make for worthy adversaries to begin with, but add in the fact that Shawn Michaels will be the guest referee and you've got yourself a tantalizing showdown fit for pay-per-view.

Although an interruption by The Heartbreak Kid is inevitable, especially after he had his arm broken by Lesnar in an ambush on Raw a couple weeks back, the match is still a must-see. There is simply too much awesomeness to miss. Three of WWE's finest in one ring, including one of SummerSlam's greatest performers of all-time, Triple H? Sign me up.

Not to mention that Lesnar's physicality will make this showdown one of if not the most entertaining battles of the evening. Both he and The Game are capable of pulling off unthinkable finishers, and on a stage such as this, a thrilling finish is a guarantee.

CM Punk vs. John Cena vs. Big Show

One larger than life legend of the ring and the WWE's two biggest superstars will square off in a triple-threat championship match with CM Punk's title belt on the line. Other than there being little chance that Big Show prevail, this match boasts a rare level of unpredictability.

Punk and Cena are hated rivals sure, but after Punk's heel turn on Raw 1,000, who really knows what to expect from either at SummerSlam? This match will feature tons of fascinating storylines and more than its fair share of twists and turns I'm sure.

With the WWE Championship on the line, this has to be atop any wrestling fan's must-see match list this weekend at SummerSlam 2012. The answer to whether Punk will retain his crown, or will Cena begin a new era as WWE champ is nearly here. It will arrive shortly after 8 p.m. ET on Sunday night in L.A.
